A new business has moved into Seymour right on Chapman Hwy. Tennessee Mobil Home Parts was opened by Bruce Hull and his wife Crystal two weeks ago. Crystal's grandfather moved to the area 13 years ago from North Carolina and he sold mobile homes and modulars, but then scaled back and began just selling parts. Two stores were then opened, one in Dandridge and one in Newport. After some consideration, the Hulls decided to open a store in Seymour, and have already had many customers drop in.
"People can come here for everything," Hull said. "We have rock skirting, vinyl skirting, and all the plumbing."
He added that they carry everything because products carried at large chain stores don't normally work for mobile homes.
"That grants us the opportunity to have a mobile home parts store," he said. "The tubs are different sizes, the doors are different thicknesses, and so on."
The store carries windows, doors, tubs, showers, air conditioning and heating units, skirting, tie downs, anchors, water heaters, plumbing and faucets.
"We have anything and everything you would need for your mobile home," he said.
Hull added that if he didn't have what the customer needed in the store, he would be able to order it and have it for them within a few days.
Tennessee Mobile Home Parts is located at 10522 Chapman Hwy. and the store's phone number is (865) 223-7677.
